Australian native plant collection

My Native Plant Series features abstract interpretations of Australian native plants, informed by my hands-on involvement in regeneration, rewilding and seed propagation projects.

Using poured watercolours, ink and collage, I create dynamic compositions that reflect the sculptural forms, rhythmic leaf patterns and layered habitats of native bushland. Movement is central — leaves scatter, overlap and cluster, evoking wind through canopy and understory.

These works are not botanical illustrations, but contemporary environmental artworks that express resilience, adaptation and the interconnected systems within Australia’s native landscapes.
